The wire is made from an alloy base that includes silicon, manganese, chromium, and molybdenum, and has a typical hardness of 280-325 BHN.
This type of welding wire is commonly used in applications where friction and compression are major concerns, such as in the repair and surfacing of drive sprockets, gear teeth, crane wheels, gear and rail links. It produces a semi-hard and machinable deposit, making it well-suited for rebuilding and surfacing.
PACKING :
For the 1.6mm wire size, it is available in spool packing with a weight of 15kg.
For the 2.4mm wire size, it is available in three different packaging options: spool packing with a weight of 15kg or 25kg, and drum packing with a weight of 225kg.
For the 2.8mm wire size, it is also available in spool packing with a weight of 15kg or 25kg, as well as drum packing with a weight of 225kg.
